  1. TrainingBase for 32 bit Windows -- Readme file
  2.  
  3. TrainingBase is distributed electronically. Prior
  4. to registering TrainingBase you may use it as 
  5. shareware subject to copyright laws. As shareware
  6. this program's databases are limited to a maximum
  7. of 50 records. When you register TrainingBase you
  8. will receive a code to enter which will allow you
  9. an unlimited number of records in your database. 
  10. A set of disks will not be sent after registration,
  11. as you already have all the necessary files to run
  12. the full version of TrainingBase, unless you 
  13. specifically order them. If you include an email 
  14. address you will receive your code by email with 
  15. a confirming letter, otherwise you will only 
  16. receive a letter.

  18. INSTALLATION NOTES: 
  19.  
  20. Windows NT 4.0 users should use service pack 3 or
  21. greater and 3.51 users should use service pack 5 or
  22. greater.
  23.  
  24. To install TrainingBase on your hard disk if you 
  25. have downloaded it electronically:
  26.  
  27.   Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0:
  28.   1. Run Tbase32.exe in a temporary directory.
  29.   2. Select "Run" from the Start Button.
  30.   3. Click "Browse" and select setup.exe from 
  31.      the temporary Directory.
  32.   4. Click "OK".
  33.   5. Follow the on screen prompts.
  34.  
  35.   Windows NT 3.51:
  36.   1. Run Tbase32.exe in a temporary directory.
  37.   2. Choose the Run command from the File menu 
  38.      in Windows Program Manager or File Manager.
  39.   3. Type "c:\temp\setup.exe" (substitute the 
  40.      appropriate drive and directory for your
  41.      temporary directory).
  42.   4. Press Enter.
  43.   5. Follow the on screen prompts.

  45. To install TrainingBase if you have purchased 
  46. TrainingBase on disk:
  47.  
  48.   Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0:
  49.   1. Insert Disk 1 in your 3.5" floppy drive.
  50.   2. Select "Settings" - "Control Panel".
  51.   3. Double Click "Add/Remove Programs".
  52.   4. Click "Install".
  53.   5. Follow the on screen prompts.

  55.   Windows NT 3.51:
  56.   1. Insert Disk 1 in drive A.
  57.   2. Choose the Run command from the File menu 
  58.      in Windows Program Manager or File Manager.
  59.   3. Type A:\SETUP (substitute the appropriate 
  60.      drive letter for your system).
  61.   4. Press Enter.
  62.   5. Follow the on screen prompts.

  64. SAMPLE DATABASE

  66.   To open a sample database use the "File/Open
  67.   Database..." command and select Sample32.mdb
  68.   for your TrainingBase directory.
